Dr. Curtis Harris has been a commentator on medical ethics on National Public Radio, a talk show host for six years, and published an article in 1992 in Life Issues entitled, "Physician-Assisted Suicide."

Harris has been, and is currently, a practicing endocrinologist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the last 20 years. He has a specialty of Diabetology. He received his BS at Ohio Wesleyan University; MS and Ph.C. (Doctoral Candidate, Biochemistry) at the University of Washington, Seattle; MD at the University of Washington Medical School; and JD at Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Harris has many professional affiliations, including the Christian Medical and Dental Association, Professional Section of the American Diabetes Association, and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He is on the Peer Review Board of Issues in Law and Medicine and is a published author in the areas of biochemistry, endocrinology, law and medical-legal ethics. He has lectured nationally on the issues of medicine and law.
