C. Christopher Hook graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, he completed training programs in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and is Board Certified in all three areas by the American Board of Internal Medicine.In July, 1994, he returned to the Mayo Clinic Rochester and there serves as a consultant in the Division of Hematology and Internal Medicine and the Special Coagulation Laboratory, Chair of the Myeloproliferative Disorders Study Group and the MAP Clinic, and as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Medical School. He is Director of Ethics Education for the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
